The Ministry of Legal Affairs of Myanmar and the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation signed the memorandums on the cooperation of legal matters at the 11th International Legal Forum that was held on May 11 to 13.

There are numbers of proposed memorandums for cooperation between the two nations’ relevant ministries, as per information. 

Amongst, two proposals to the Ministry of Legal Affairs were singed by the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Justice of Russian Federation. 

Union Attorney-General Dr. Thida Oo informed at the forum that the Ministry of Legal Affairs of Myanmar is formulating the 2020-2024 Strategic Plan with five objectives under the name of "Legal Services for Justice". One of the objectives involves cooperation with global nations and international organizations, Thida Oo said.
